2013 Corvette show in Champaign Illinois

The people who now are running Bloomington Gold are crazy if they think they can draw more than 40,000 people to central Illinois in this economy. Normal and Springfield are what killed the show before Dana Mecum bought what was left of it and moved it to a large enough metropolitan area to save it.

wow, now that's a glass half empty... geez, have you given it any time to see what is actually planned and where it is layed out? From your reply the answer to that is likely "no". 
I can say this, I have seen the layout and believe it will be a great opportunity for the Corvette community. It wouldn't be going there on a "whim". This was a lengthy thought decision process from what I heard.
Some people are naturally negative though, ay?

Not as far for me to drive,always went to Bloomington and Springfield.

I won't be going, its not really that great of a show to justify the 3 hours drive on trooper infested expressways. Just look at what happened at funfest last september. It was one big trap.
