To the COWARD of Carlisle
You're nothing but a lowlife POS scum of the earth. You know who you are, and if you're reading this all the better.
A very nice couple from NY happened to come to Carlisle Saturday for their first time ever. They just bought a new to them C5 and were on their first trip.
They went straight from the hotel to Install Alley to get a new set of Catback mufflers. They parked on the edge of the grass just across the road from the many exhaust vendors.
YOU being the dirtbag that you are, went over to their car and spray painted "Move" across their windshield, and some obcenities on the side window.
They weren't even gone for 5 minutes. And like the SNEAKY BASTARD that you are, you weren't man enough to face them.
Thanks to one of the vendors, they were able to remove the paint.
You're lucky no one saw you, I don't know how that was possible, but you managed to pull off your COWARDLY act without being seen.
Good thing, because you deserve to the spend some time in the PA prison system.
You're a disgrace to all other Corvette owners and the promoters of CAC.
Thankfully, the folks whose weekend you almost ruined, have moved on. I wouldn't blame them if they never came back.
I've never seen anything like that at Carlisle or any other Corvette event, you set a new low standard.
Everyone now knows what a POS you are even if they don't know who you are.
I'm thinking you are a vendor who took umbrage to these folks parking in your "spot". Well guess what, it was their first time and they didn't know anything about the fairgrounds and certainly didn't mean to park on "your" little piece of grass.

We spoke for about 2 hrs Sat night about this issue, the woman was almost in tears over what happened, but I assured her that this was a total aberration of CAC. She calmed down alot after Linda and I talked to her and her husband at length about Carlisle AND Corvettes in general.
I'm sure they'll be down next year, and in the same hotel, as we both like the hotel. I'll make contact with them then. If I see them, I'll tell them to swing by to visit you as they may be in the market for a C7 also.
Again, sorry I can't help with their personal info, I should have gotten their number but didn't. I didn't want to be too intrusive into their private business.
They're really good people, too bad something like this happened to them. I saw them this morning before leaving and they appeared to be more upbeat, one, they were going back to the fairgrounds today, and two, I complemented them on how beautiful their car looked. And it DID.
THANKS, A GREAT OFFER YOU MADE AND A TESTAMENT TO YOUR LOVE OF THE CARS AND THE PEOPLE WHO ENJOY THEM. NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN

Mike, I'm really sorry but I only know their first names Dan and Michelle. They're from Syracuse NY, and have a 2002 TR C5 coupe with repro 2006-2008 ZO6 wheels.

I'm not giving up. What vendor did they have the work done at? I will call tomorrow morning and get their mailing address. I will empty my C5 archives and give them everything I can.

They might be somewhat embarrassed that I went this far in airing this story, but I felt like it needed to be told as I was upset myself on Sat night.
Thanks again!

Mike, the work was done on Sat, to narrow it down some. I'm sure they would be overwhelmed with just a postcard

Wow.
This is the first time I've ever heard of a Corvette being vandalised, at Carlisle, of all places. If it were a vendor, hope someone tells who it was. I'd hate to do business with someone like that.

It's hard to believe that no one saw the vandalism, but I hope they read this and are able to help out here. We don't want people like that attending our events.
