20 anniversary caravan to Bowling Green
Who else is going to be there? I'm riding in with my cousin from Mooresville NC in his red C5 drop top. I don't have a top for mine yet so I can't chance the possibility of pop up storms this time of year. Gonna eat me up not having mine but gonna love sharing the event with my Cuz and his ride.

I just found out about this today.
Now I'm doing research on the caravan itself to get there.

We're at the Belterra Casino Resort now getting ready to head out to the Kentucky Speedway to do some laps. Looking out hotel room are hundreds of Vettes from Pa/Nj. Awesome!

We are with the contingent from Southern California. We started with 180 vettes. We met up with Texas and Oklahoma yesterday and are now up to around 400. We are getting ready to leave the Hard Rock Hotel in Tulsa in about an hour.. Gonna be pretty awesome..

I left with a group out of Memphis yesterday. We only had 9 cars in our caravan and took a scenic route (Natchez Trace Pkwy) to Nashville, then met up with Kentucky, Arkansas, and southern Texas at Kentucky Downs. Our groups were due at the museum at 5pm. We had about 200-250 cars in our group when we left. The group that left before us was said to have 400 cars or better. It was a very impressive site to see all the cars rolling up I-65 to Bowling Green, however the other traffic wasnt too happy. I ended up just coming back home to west TN last nite instead of staying, but was soooo glad I did the caravan. I will definitely be back for the 25yr anniversary in 2019. I recommend anyone intrested to make it a point to try to make the 25yr....it is a great experience with great people and fantastic cars. I also recommend taking the Natchez Trace Pkwy if you ever have the opportunity. Many historic sites along the way, plenty of rest stops, and just purely beautiful. I plan to drive it in the fall when the colors are abound. The speed limit is 50 mph, and its two lane.....and no point of the 80+ miles that we were on it, did we ever get seperated. In fact, the only thing we passed on the whole segment was a piece of farming equipment. I hope to have the chance to post pictures I took soon.
