Corvette Forum Photo Op at Bloomington Gold
I thought it would be a good idea to start this conversation off in a new thread. Since we seem to have a special area that we can park amongst other Corvette Forum members, it was brought up to try and do a group photo. We tried doing this at Corvettes at Carlisle, but it didn't turn out so well. Sure, there were maybe a dozen or so members that showed up, but was not well attended. Let's see if we can do better this round.
Since this is the first year at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, I am not sure where the best location would be. So I will say how about with our cars in the Corvette Forum parking area? Looks like that is pretty close to all the action and shouldn't be too far out of the way for everyone.
How about right at Noon?
For those that didn't know you could register to park in the Corvette Forum area (like me), here is a message from Lori on how to do so before Monday!
And for those that need a quick map of the land:
Hope we have a good turn out and look forward to meeting some of you in a couple of weeks in person.

Hello Corvette Forum Members:
We currently have 6 members registered for the Club Parking with Corvette Forum. We DID have club parking registration available when you purchased your tickets, however the deadline for registering for club parking was June 1st.
If you wish to participate in the Corvette Forum Club parking, it's imperative that you email me directly if your wish to participate.
What you need to do:
Make sure you have purchased admission tickets if you haven't already done so. Advance Ticket sales are still available online. If purchased prior to June 15th you will receive paper tickets via the mail, After June 15th, you will be emailed electronic tickets that you will print off.
Email me your Name, Address, & email address of the members
Upon arrival to IMS you will be directed to Corvette parking,(you cannot go anywhere else). You will pass the Welcome Tent before you can park with the other Corvettes. I will have a list of names of those individuals and associated clubs and we will collect the club parking fee at the Welcome tent. You will be given their club identification at that time.
I must receive your information by Monday, June 15th, otherwise you will park in the General Corvette Parking area.
My email is lori@bloomingtongold.com. Please email me with any questions.
Thanks!
Lori Worman

Would there be a more appropriate time? This is my first time to Bloomington Gold, and I am only doing a day trip, so not familiar with the happenings at BG. I am open to suggestions and ideas.

Ok guys, if anyone is interested in photo I suggest 10:00. Get it done before activities heat up. My best guess.

Ok. Let's lock it in for 10am on Saturday! To help us get together in a group, I have acquired an official Corvette Forum Banner and will have it out for us to use in the photo. When you arrive, please be willing to share you user name so we can keep track and tag people appropriately.

That's my plan thus far. Since I am driving my 73' over, I don't have any room for any tall polls or a tent to hang it from, but hopefully we can get a good gathering going and everyone who wants to be involved can join in. Sounds like they will have an area marked off for the people who registered to park in the Corvette Forum group, so I was planning on just hanging out in that area to get this going.
