Hey all,
Next summer I'll be spending in Florida, just south of Orlando
I'm bringing the C5 with me

have any of you shipped your cars long distance? what transport company did you use? were you happy with them? and about what am I looking to spend to ship from Los Angeles to the Orlando area and back??

I sell Corvettes to people all over the country and many times these cars have been shippped. It is NOT cheap to have a car transported, especially the distance from LA to FL and especially if you want an enclosed trailer.

I cannot quote you, but I would start calling around. I would also suggest you just drive the car there and back.

We had a 62 Fuelie shipped from Nevada to Mass. My recollection was that it was about $1,600.

Intercity did a great job. Enclosed TT. I have used them a couple of times and was extremely pleased.

I will second Intercity, I have used them 3 times and they are top notch. I believe they offer $50,000 insurance for free, GPS contact with the truck at all times...great reputation....
