If one were to trailer their car to Carlisle, where could the trailer be parked?

Thanks

We have trailer parking conveniently located right outside Gate 1. Here's more information for you viewing pleasure: http://www.carlisleevents.com/carlis...s-parking.aspx.

Hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Lance

Lance,

Is there going to be a parade this year??? I don't see it listed on the website yet. I want to get my fun field tickets but I usually wait to bundle with the parade.

I'll be at the Marriott Residence Inn (in Carlisle) again this year. My new favorite hotel for this event. I used to stay further away, but this hotel is awesome. I'll be bringing a ton of meat to grill outside this year, along with plenty of drinks. Saw alot of nice cars last year there, (a few zr1's, a ton of c7s and c6's). Great hotel, great location, and nice staff (although I bet it changes) Last year we caught a wedding group having tons of fun. Just look for the long haired, long beard kid, that's me. Can't wait! Also, during the parade, I'd be glad to have meet up at the belgian beer bar.

Sounds like I should stay there too!

Unreal. There are hotel rooms available at nearly all close by hotels. This is really unusual.
And the Carlisle website isn't showing that the reserved spots are sold out yet. Not sure if it's because there hasn't been enough interest this year, or if there's no limit on the number of reserved spots. It's just odd all around.

Default Question about Friday Dinner Event at the Expo Center

We're pre-registered for the Funfield, the Parade. and the Friday Dinner at the Expo Center. My question is this: If I'm parked on the Funfield and attend the Friday (6-9pm) dinner event at the Expo Center, can I (or should I) leave my car parked on the Funfield and walk, or should I drive my car out Gate 3 to the Expo Center? Not sure of the parking and logistics and what is normally done.

You can leave your car parked on the Funfield, or drive it over. There's plenty of parking at the Expo for the dinner. It's a nice event. You'll enjoy it.

Default Window stickers??

Hi Lance.
Was wondering when the window sticker packages are going out?
Hope we have better weather than we are having in on the east coast.
Thanks

Usually about two weeks before the event.

Have the dates been released yet for Corvettes at Carlise for 2018? I can't make it this year my daughters getting married, but I want to reserve the hotel as early as possible.

I haven't seen the 2018 dates yet, but it is probably Aug. 23-26. I'm sure Lance will chime in with the actual 2018 dates.

Another thing...I doubt that you will be able to make hotel reservations this far in advance...15 months. I could be wrong and you could be lucky, but I've seen the hotels changing their reservation policies. We used to be able to book for the next year when we checked into a hotel. Now, we have to call them about 2 weeks AFTER Corvettes at Carlisle for the following year. Again, you might get lucky! Let us know if you do!

Elaine, I checked the Days Inn South just the other day and they still have vacancies. I think a lot of people (like me) got fed up with their b.s. and went elsewhere. We're at the Country Inn & Suites now.

You could very well be right, Rich. Where's your hotel and what are they charging? We are at the Days Inn South for 5 nights at $139 so do the arithmetic!! This may be the last year we stay there.

It's on Commerce Ave, not far at all from the fairgrounds. As for the rate........I have no idea. I was able to use points and get the room for free (first time ever), but their rates for today are $136 a night, so I imagine they're bumped up pretty good for CAC.
Next year, we'll likely go back to the new Sleep Inn in Scotland. $90 a night is more reasonable. Plus they don't require a three night minimum like some are doing closer to the fairgrounds.
