She won't be parking anywhere on the fairgrounds, so she can enter anywhere with her ticket. Whichever gate is closest to where she's parked.

What happened to the rule about "guarding" a space, I saw many people last night placing tents and other objects to "hold" "their" space? They didn't pay for them.

No, not the people who paid for a spot, that's fine.

Default Corvette Only Parking Saturday 8/26

I will be coming on Saturday afternoon and was hoping to park my Vette in one of the Corvettes Only lots but I see one is reserved for Parade Staging. If I have to park somewhere offsite, can I buy a day pass at any of the gates or only Gate 3?

Thanks.

The "guarding" typically gets moved by about 8am if space gets tight and the "owner" isn't there.

Was there a Corvette Forum meet and greet here at Carlisle. I didn't see any announcement here on the forum, but I see there's an official Corvette Forum group photo in front of the grand stand here today (Sat) at 1:30pm.

I really wanted to stay for that. It was great meeting all the vette enthusiasts. Wife wants me in Cape May, NJ by 5 for dinner with friends. I'll be back next year.

Little over a 1000 miles in two days, plus all the walking I did today and I'm shot!! But I had a blast seeing every Corvette model and color know to man, I think!! But, next time I will spend the night around Carlisle instead of making the trip back to east Tennessee.

Only announcement I heard about a Corvette Forum pic was over the P.A. and was only for certain generations. It wasn't an all generation, all member pic. So I didn't bother.

Likes..........the weather (perfect), the cars (all were awesome), the people (none better), the tram because it's so easy to get around. Vendors because there isn't anything you can't find there in the swap meet. And the majority were friendly and courteous. Kerbeck's poster!! Added to my collection. The playing of the National Anthem by trumpet on Friday!! SO MUCH BETTER than a recording.

Dislikes.......the broken up lanes that make it hard to walk (especially for my wife and handicap people) , the food (really gone downhill, and nothing was really good or worth the cost), no step on the tram. It's really needed. It's too high for a lot of older, or heavier people, or people with disabilities. Each car needs a step added even if it's only on one side.
Was really disappointed with some of the celebs (Harlan Charles and whoever it was that was beside him as you first go in). Both were extremely rude and ignored people waiting to get them to sign their stuff. They ignored both myself and my wife while we were standing in front of them waiting. Charles even put his head down on the table while we were waiting for him. F him. We went on to the others who were polite and friendly. I realize it's probably boring for them, but don't insult the rest of us who are paying big bucks for this show.

What's up with people bringing personal vehicles onto the grounds, via Gate3. I saw people paying at the gate holding up the line to get in(private vehicles, not vettes), were they vendors? Doubt it.

I had to wait while they entered gate 3.
Please explain.
