I'm driving the '16 Z51 coupe to Bloomington Gold from South Texas. Went to Corvettes at Carlisle last year. I'm gonna hit Route 66 at Tucumcari and do it to Chicago, then spend some time at the Henry Ford Museum, then on to Indianapolis.

I already bought tickets and paid for a couple of laps of the track. I'm looking for tips. They really came in handy at Carlisle.

Went to Bloomington Gold for the first time. Had three day tickets. Ended up going Thursday and Friday. It rained quite a bit on Friday. Did the Gold laps on Friday. Was lapping around 80 mph, would have been faster but for a couple of grandmas in front. Road with the Lingenfelter bunch at the autocross in their C6 ZR1. Did the hot laps in the Corvette GS A8 Z07s one wet one dry. Dry they were hitting around 115. I think '67 was the featured year. Eight of the 20 L88 built were on display along with some other unusual cars like a tanker.
