Agreed. And that created another problem since the signs weren't in the middle of both spots. Guys were parking in front of the sign, and not in between the lines which threw everything off. I always take my sign to get autographs on and then hang it in my garage rafters. Going to have to see if the guy behind me cares if I take it tomorrow. Ridiculous. You're right. $150 for a spot, the Fun Field guys get a 20% discount if they register for next year during the show, but the reserved spots don't get a discount. This is bs. Getting pretty grabby with the cash any more.

Me too, mostly because clubs are starting to reserve 10 and 12 spaces together. There will be fewer individual spots at that rate. Plus, what's with not giving the reserved spot people a discount like the Fun Field people???? BS!!

Had a blast as usual. Weather was perhaps the best ever.. Great to see old friends. Had some great food, a few beers and some cigars. I enjoy every thing about this event. I will be back again next year.

I had a great three days - met a lot of cool people. Got some good feedback for my blog vetteblog.com Through the end of today I'm still running my raffle for anyone who signs up for my newsletter. Winner gets a free Adam's Ultimate Detailing Kit (value $200)
The only downside of the weekend is that I got TWO flat tires. One on Friday and one on Saturday. Made for an interesting weekend.

This was my first time coming and couldn't believe the amount of cars there.. Only disappointing thing was that over 90 percent of the cars out there are 2000 models and up. Hardly any old ones out there.
Once thing that irk me though about one of the vendors were the ones doing the Xpel installs. I don't know if this was due to being in the "north", but they were charging crazy money for stuff. A whole front clip was like 2000 dollars. I could get half my car wrap for that price down here in NC.

Had a nice time, the wife and I walked our legs off for the two days we were there. So much to look at, unfortunately didn't meet anyone from the forum or Vettenett.

The dogs were a real issue this year. Two dogs all weekend a few cars down from us Saw another one with two Bassett Hounds, I bet we dodged 100 dogs on leashes or strollers. Big dogs, small dogs, dogs on the midway, dogs all over the fun field, and worst of all........dogs IN the food court! My wife and I threw our food out when some ******* with his dog decided to stop right beside us and the dog hair was flying. He was carrying the dog while his wife was pushing the dog stroller. This was Saturday at lunch time and the food court was packed. No room for humans let alone dogs. They weren't outside the food court, they were between the tables and food vendors.
And it wasn't just dogs. People riding BICYCLES through the Fun Field. This wasn't early in the day or late in the afternoon either. WTH?? And then there was the kid, about 8, on the mini bike zipping between cars . Saw him Thursday and Friday. Seems like there was little to no security, or they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Yeah, there are issues that the Carlisle folks need to make policy on and enforce it and if this dog thing continues, we won't be back in 2020. Dogs shouldn't be allowed. Period. And that applies to any animals unless they're registered service animals ( not emotional support animals which are NOT registered by the government as service animals.) If people get mad, so be it. If you can afford to attend the show and drive a Corvette, you can afford to board your dog or pay a friend for three days.
Rant over.

We left our dogs at home because it clearly stated on the policies page no pets. That being said, we had as much fun seeing some of the dogs at the stands and walking around as we did seeing a lot of the Corvettes lol. I did not witness ANY bad behavior from the dogs we saw. I was there from Friday thru Sunday.

She said "you can't take the signs, they're Carlisle property!" I even offered to pay for an extra sign, but she said she didn't know how that was possible.
Like you said, $150 dollars for a parking place - shouldn't we at least be entitled to our own crappy cardboard sign???
Otherwise, a fantastic weekend - I've been coming since '84 and I believe this was my 30th trip - 8 hours from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
I've only missed a few due to a wedding or 2 and a couple of National Guard deployments!
