Default Jersey Shore - Move the Vettes to higher ground.

As the resident expert of car floods (lost my '99 in 2 feet of flood waters) just a warning to all that a nor'easter is approaching. My Vette will be braving the rain tomorrow to avoid potential inundation.

This is what I am talking about:

Company car...shhhhhhh:

My worried girl:

My previous victim (RIP):

Alright, my freinds are all warning me and now I am seeing the same thing. Is there a full moon tomorrow?

Then again the night my Vette was totalled they weren't predicting anything special and we got 7 inches in 2 hours. My luck that whole 1/4 inch will come at once during high tide and a full moon.

Us lazy drunks keep forgetting to buy them. Plus I know a guy that did that and eventually the water came up past that too, so I just evacuate and let the Malibu take its chances in the garage.

Probably won't be bad, but that pick of my company Malibu was the last nor'easter that "wasn't suppose to be that bad".

Great news! My '70 and "06 are about 2 blocks from the bay in Toms River, and my son's '72 vert. is in Leeds Point with nothing between it and the bay except some marshland. We're in our motel room in Bowling Green across the street from the musem. So glad I decided to check the forum.

Haven't been back down yet as I stayed out of town with the Vette. I don't thing it was bad at all, but after loosing one Vette that way I don't take any chances. The Vette may be dirty today due to the rain but she is dry on the inside.
