I draw your attention to definition 4. Tell me you don't have a piece of clothing with an alligator or polo player on the breast or a label on the waist ie, Calvin Kein jeans, Polo shirt, etc. Same thing I would guess. Just becasue some choose to call those plates "vanity", more often than not they are referred to as "personalized".
Lastly, what in the world has vanity got to do with ghey? You have a great propensity to entangle yourself in your twisted and convoluted logic.

It is ghey, it says look at me, I need to be special and need attention. Call it what you want, vanity plate is in M-W dictionary personalize is not.
According to the mods on the Z06 site, mods do not have the ability to read PM's. I take that with a grain of salt and again caution everyone to conduct any personal business, that's not related to the forum, via email.

I'm entitled to FOP plates but they want wayyyy too much money for them - ahhh manybe next year
The only thing about these kinds of plates is knowing how people are...If they don't like law enforcement they might do something stupid to your car...

It is ghey everyplace like I said unless you are a girl or you have something like 69 shark.
Just my own opinion, vanity plates are used to draw attention to one self. If you have a classic then it is ok, as you said an older car has something of a personality so having a plate that describes the year and make of the car is ok. Also this way only ½ the people will come up to you and ask what year is it.
Tell the difference between my plate and yours! Your plate does not draw attention to you and your car? You are kidding, right?
Call it what you want, call it vanity, call it ghey, it's a personalized plate and NO ONE, ever, except YOU, has called it ghey!
I wouldn't say it is all about someones ego...I might get one, but it's a nickname...Nothing like FastC6 or anything...If I got a plate like yours I would get a Law Enforcement one or maybe a PBA plate, but I don't think mine would fit cause of the logo on the plate.
I guess the Patriot Act is in full effect around here...
If you want to suport the PBA then get a PBA one, but just get what ever numbers and letters they give you.
This is a privately owned message board, the Patriot Act has nothing to do with it.

Speaking of cruises, a friend of mine and I used to charter a boat out of New Rochelle, with a DJ, food, the works, and cruise down to the Statue of Liberty. I was thinking of doing it again.
We'd need about 70 people to make it work. Any interest?

Filters yes...talk to Frank and see what he says. I'm not denying that maybe the administrators CAN read them but I would be surprised (and apologize) if I found out that Frank or any other mod reads PM's.
