That's a very cool story! Welcome to Vette ownership!
I'd like to be able to do the same thing when my kid(s) are 18 and I hand 'em the keys to my '04...so they can back out of the garage and into the driveway where they can wash it, then put it back into the garage!
Jeezus I'll be old by then...and will my bottles of Zaino last?
Zaino is killer...me and my buddy detail are cars full zaino process once a month.....hes got the new srt charger....but yea i love detailing cars....and the cool thing about is im good at it lol......
My son has already asked me to hand down my C6 when he is old enough to drive in 10 more years. We were out cruising around this past Saturday and he told me that I should by myself a new one when he gets his license and then he can take this one.
Sounds like a plan to me. His ten year old Sister claimed my 68 GTO a long time ago.

Winter is a slow time for events, for obvious reasons. Last Spring things didn't really get super busy until about May when the weather is reliably warmer. But there are a few Corvette Specific events in the March and April timeframe. As spring rolls around, there will be a CFNE calender link stickied at top of the NorthEast section listing everything that has been scheduled. In the meantime, keep your eyes open for any threads labeled "Event".
It's great seeing the 'Vette extended family grow!

Congrats! Being young and impressionable, don't do anything irresponsable with your folks former pride and joy. Translation, stay away from this bunch (.....or don't sell the bike just yet, you may still be needing it).
