Working for Ford does have it's advantages. I get to drive the Ford GT. So I thought it would make for some cool pics. My car and a Ford GT.
I'm not a great photographer and the background sucks.(back lot of dealership)
Nice photos, Mark. What a great way to spend your 'lunch hour' (not many folks get the opportunity to play with "toys" as nice as these).
Count your blessings, buddy.
A friend of mine has a GT40 made in South Africa, by a company similar to Superformance. It has a ford 302 in it with about 365HP, and weighs under 2000lbs. It is a little sparse inside, and the seats aren't real comfortable, but yeah, it's real quick. He won't let me drive it though!! Bastich! and we've been friends for almost 40 years. The new GT, made by Ford is pretty sweet. I'd have to take one too if I had the chance to switch. It is one of my other dream cars to add to my stable. So far I've got the vette. I need to get moving on this.

Great pics Marc. Thanks for posting. I've always admired the Shelby cars, especially the Daytona Coupe. To this day the only car ride I couldn't wait to get out of was a ride in a friends Cobra. That car scared the crap out of me!! And I won't get in it again.
But looking at the 1st pic (rear shot, side by side) your C6 has the wider "meats".
Hi there Marc! Isn't it nice to be able to play with two great toys during recess? Of course I think that the Vette looks better. Coming up to Grand Canyon Cruise?

No Bruce, I'm not. We are doing Skyline Drive in Oct. Will I see you there?
Great shots. I think the GT is in another league (maybe even more than ZR1) - more of a race car / toy than a daily driver like any of the Corvettes can be. Nonetheless, I still want one
