Default Seeking dyno shop recommendations for North or Central NJ region

Hi - I'm seeking recommendations on dyno shops in the region around North NJ. OK with down to Central Jersey, up to Rockland/Orange Counties in NY or possibly even Long Island or far Eastern PA. Thanks!

Or vette docs. If its just a dyno you want there is also Bruce in rockaway and Rogue engineering in saddle river. Those two aren't vette specific but will give you numbers.

Just a dyno you can go anyplace, a dyno is primarily a tuning tool. You can go to one shop get a dyno then the same day drive to another shop and you will get a different number. Where a dyno is good is going to a shop and they can tune it using the same dyno so the difference can be measured as well as things like the a/f ratio then do some tuning. So if you plan on getting mods and a tune i would pick the shop where you will get the mods and tuning done. If you just want to get a dyno to have a print out for a novelty then any shop will do.

Have you ever been to Bruce's speed shop in rockaway? I live in rockaway and have only ever been told to stay away from that crook.. any thoughts ? Have you had any success there?

anyone ever go there for that matter?

Bruce installed a chip in my C4 many years ago with no problem. However, about 2 or 3 years ago, he was working on someone's vette, and took it out on a "test drive". He apparently lost it, and ended up wrecking the guy's car and almost putting it through the front window of a jewelry store across from his shop.
If you're looking to have some work done, give Chuck at Corvette ofWestchester a call. He is about as close as any other forum vendors, and I highly recommend him. You can PM me if you have any questions.
The other vendors mentioned are competant too, but from personal experience, I trust Chuck. Just IMPO.
