Performance rear end builder in NJ/NY area?
Anyone know a good shop that specializes in C3 rear differentials? I am looking for a performance buildup: gears, posi rebuild, bearings, axles, etc.
In searching the forums, it looks like all the specialists are in the midwest. I am thinking about Fark's Supercars in Brooklyn. They did great work with driveshafts and rearends in my 74 Chevelle Laguna and 79 Malibu, but from what I have read, the IRS differentials require specific knowledge for a performance buildup. Corvette Paramedics looks like they do more restoration work rather than performance buildups. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the info. I know Farid is one of the best for years now, but I am leaning toward sending mine out to Mike Dyer since he truly specializes in the Vette IRS, even if I have to eat the shipping back and forth. I spoke with Mike and Farid both and Mike was very specific on the tolerances, posi tuning, and bearing cap fitment specifics. What did Farid do to your IRS and how much did it cost? Thanks again!
