I'm starting this list off with the ones that I know of in my area (Central Maryland) or attend on a regular basis. One of the best in the country, and by far the best NoVA cruise-in is the Great Falls Cars & Coffee at Katie's Coffee Shop. (aka Katie's Cars & Coffee. Google for tons of videos, pics & articles.) Every Saturday, 6-9am, year round. It is absolutely worth getting up early to go. On a nice day 400-450 cars will be in Great Falls. All generations of Corvettes. Ferraris, Lambos, pre-war classics, muscle cars, new, old... Cars begin to arrive at 5am (seriously) to get the best parking spots, many cars are leaving by 8-8:30am so don't show up late - you will miss it. Huge crowd of spectators & owners, friendly people, serious car guys/gals from all over the mid-Atlantic. Great Falls is a small town, Saturday mornings in-season you can't miss it.
There is an annual All Corvette Cruise-In each August in Manassas that happened last weekend. It's been going on for decades. Smaller shows in Manassas seem to come and go.
For organized DC metro car shows, the two best are Father's Day at Sully Plantation in Chantilly, VA and the Rockville City Car Show in October.
And if you haven't been to Corvettes at Carlisle (PA), every August for decades, definitely go. ~2 hour dive. It is the biggest Corvette meet in the world. http://www.carlisleevents.com/carlis...s-at-carlisle/
Cheers,
JB

No single reliable list of NoVA shows I've found.
