26th Annual Corvette Weekend Ocean City,Maryland Maryland
The largest Corvette Club Event on the East Coast of the United States.
Freestate Corvette Club will host it's 26th Annual Ocean City Corvette Weekend on Friday October 12th and Saturday October 13, 2012 at The Clarion Hotel and Ocean City Inlet. This is the largest Corvette Club sposored event on the East Coast of the United States with over 1200 Corvette enthusiasts attending from Canada to Florida. Attendees can participate in our Grand Boardwalk Parade, three judged car shows, four exciting rallyes and two event parties. Corvette Weekend is a great time for Corvette owners and enthusiasts to spend a packed weekend showing off "Americas Sportscar" to the other owners from around the region and country plus 1000's of spectators who line the the Boardwalk Parade Route and view the car shows at the Ocean City Inlet on Saturday. The Friday Night Welcoming Event provides great music and food to registered attendees and the Saturday Night Awards Dinner recognizes the best show cars from the oldest 1953 Corvette to the newest 2013 Corvettes. There will be dozens of vendors on hand both Friday and Saturday. Whether you are interested in Corvettes or just a great fall weekend at Ocean City, Maryland, you will want to participate in this special weekend. Event proceeds to to the Freestate Corvette Club 501(C)(3) charities including Spina Bifida of Maryland, the Baltimore Washington USO and the Theraputic Riding Academy. Hello All
I have never attended this event, I have lived here (OC area since 1995) but just bought my first Vette a couple weeks ago. I bought an 82, it is not a show piece (yet) needs paint this winter. I would like to ride to the event and look around but not sure any of the driving events or showing off my car in the inlet is something to do this year. See pics below (unless I put a sign in the window saying "paint this winter"). Can my wife and I pay to get into the inlet to walk around and see the vendors and cars if I do not register?
