Anyone know someone who can appraise classic cars in NJ?
A coworker of mine's grandmother recently passed and left his family with 3 classic cars that they'd like to find a good home for and get an idea of what they are worth. I'd like to find him someone who can appraise the cars and/or give him an idea of what they are worth. The cars are:
Black 48 Nash sedan – 28,091 miles
Green 49 Buick Roadmaster – 55,099 convertible, all electric
Gray 39 Buick – 12,023, factory sunroof
Cars are located in South Jersey near Delran.
Some pics he sent me:
Thanks to anyone who can steer me in the right direction.

I told my coworker that he should really try to keep at least one if he can.

There are a few others, but here is one to get your friend started on. A classic car insurance writer has the resources you need also. Link-->http://www.oldcarsweekly.com/pricinginfo

Call Jason Merrill at America Collector's Insurance in Cherry Hill. Tell him I sent you and he may be able to direct you.
And where, near Delran? I grew up in Delran and would love to see these cars in person, only wish I had the money and the space.

Retired & lovin' it!
Haggerty Insurance or Hemmings may be able to give you some rough estimates or point you to a local appraiser.....check their websites.
Quick look at Hemmings listings:
'48 Nash 600 - asking $14,000
'49 Buick Roadmaster Convertible - asking $65,000
....both appear to have been restored & in running condition; couldn't find anything for the '39 Buick Super.
Keep in mind that there's a very wide range of values depending upon condition & degree of restoration required.

I'll raise you to $125. I wish I had the room for one as I would be tempted to try and turn one myself. Then I realized that I have just been watching too many shows like Fast n Loud, Counting Cars, etc. and really have very little skill to do it.
Thanks. I'll pass that on.

I recently had to have my Vette appraised due to a divorce and me having to "buy out" my Vette from her. Teri Shaw came to my house and I'd a very good job for me. He was very fair. He took many pictures and went over the car in detail. After it was done he sent me a detailed appraisal of the car. His info is Automotive Legal service. Po box 626 Dresher Pa 19025. Phone is 215 659 4947.

Yes i still have the Vette and someday i will get it back roadworthy. Unfortunately the big D happened right in the middle of the LS swap. It is running but still needs some work. I am working on expanding the garage at my present location and installing my lift so i can finish the project and get back to "vetting" again.
