Been a long time since I posted but I guess I'm not the only one. Can't believe this thread is still going.
Kids are getting older now which should leave more quality time with my cars soon. Still in to boating so the cars will continue to compete with the boat for time, but looking forward to having more time behind the wheels of both of them.

Quick update...I took a job with an Electrtical contractor and went into their service dept. Lpts of paperwork, it was ok but there is a gut who kisses the owners *** too much. Plus he is in charge of the jobs that he has bid on and won. He orders the material for the job and 20% of the time the material is wrong and 10% of the time his ideas are wrong and he tells the other techs to do wrong things, and has failed many inspections. The jobs that get done aren't inspected, so the company gets paid. The owner is never informed of this and everything looks great so he spends a lot of his time at his beachouse. I requested three meetings with him, the first meeting went very well and the very next day some things clerically got changed. The next meeting was postponed at his requst and the next meeting he said he forgot about, so I resigned. I'm not sure if this guy who was a supervisor was threthend by me or what, but he doesen't know commercial products or how to use them. So now I'm unemployed after 35 yrs. Thinking about starting my own thing but really don't want the headaches that brings with it. I have three sheep and we have become real real close, so all is good in the south.

You need to learn how to play the game better. Welcome to the working world when you work for a company and not yourself.

You should have introduced that guy to your sheep, then took a photo of him in the act, then sent it to everyone at the company. Now you know.

I couldn't bear the thought of him with one of my lovers, plus everyone who saw the pics would just think he has girlfriends on the side.

This thread still has 490 posts to close out. So I figure by 2020 we'll start a new bar thread

Nothing wrong with a purple corvette . Thought I do like the new Black Rose over the Majestic Amethyst C5 I had (1 of only 286 ever made).

On another note, I just put a build order in on a 2017 Z06 Coupe in Torch Red on Adrenaline Red. Can't wait for these next 4-5 weeks left!

That color reminds me of the Purple Pearl Metallic paint that Chevy used on the 93' & 94' Camaros. I had a 93' Z28 in that color. The Corvette color looks a little darker than the color used on the Camaro but it could just be the lighting. It wasn't my first choice in color, but it was the only Z28 left in Charleston, S.C. at the time. The color grew on me.

This reminded me of the time some years ago when the Wife wanted an Amethyst C5 MN6 Vert and was actually finding them. This pic also reminds me of when Nuky painted her's somewhat of a purple.
