Default 3M Clear Bra...where to get it done?

I just purchased a 2011 ZR1 with 9000 miles on it and want to add a clear bra...does anyone know a good place in CT to get it done?

Thanks

3m has 2 film products, the standard film and a heavy duty film. I recommend the heavy duty film. this film is thicker, comes in 3 foot wide so you can wrap your complete rear quarters with no seam lines, has a 10 year warranty and has a self healing technology. last summer it looks like someone scraped my left rear quarter right behind the wheel lip, it looks like someone keyed it, but the paint is not scratched as the film took the hit. now I just need to get the car back to the shop so he can pull it off and apply a new piece, be good as new. no paint touchup.

I used these guys for my 2010 that I bought last fall. They did a great job. They are in East Longmeadow, MA. Call and talk to Paul.

+1 on these guys. I didn't get mine done through them as I went with Xpel. However I saw their work on my buddies M3 and it looked great. Bullmarkets car looks just as good. I just had them tint my daily. There's also another gentleman on this forums [Rich], that they did it to his C7 and it looks great as well.

We've used them for all our cars including the Vettes. They have always been very professional and I highly recommend them.

Hey Middletown neighbor!

If you have other work to be done, The Corvette Center in Newington has a guy that does a good job.

Ray will make sure it is done right!

Also, the Posse has a fun Dyno day coming up. Join us if you like. Lots of fun, diff Vettes, cigars, etc.

That sounds like a great combination. The ceramic coating is great by it self. Which one do they apply first?

X-pel first then ceramic. The x-pel gets a coat of the "light" surface one.

I am looking into picking up a new Z06 in NH and want to get it protected ASAP after picking it up. Not too concerned if its 3M or Xpel.
It looks like you guys are recommending the following:
1) Automobilia Auto Salon in West Haven
2) Protection Plus in East Longmeadow

Any others I should consider? My travel route after I pickup the car has me heading west so #2 looks like a better option.

Thanks. We'll see if we can make it fit the schedule. If not I plan to try tracwrap to cover it for the ride home.

I am guessing you are getting the car at MacMulkin? They use 2 very good companies that do the Xpel wrap at the dealership before you pick up the car.

Hey thanks for the tip. I hadn't got around to asking them about that yet. I was surprised to find out some of the other big dealer don't offer that service. Any idea who they use and if the prices are competitive?

Default protective film wrap

I recommend Detail By Denise in Madison, CT. He did my 2008 AO vette. He tucks the edges. Removed badges and lights to make for no seams or edges. Had my front end to the doors done. along with the rockers.I have yet to see a job done as well.
