Thanks, Chief --
I'll put that one on my calendar. (I'll just have to make sure to hide the wife's credit cards the night before.)

A friend of mine is putting together a car show for his work. He said last year's had a great turnout of participants with some amazing cars.

This was a great show last year
Went to this show last year but the weather wasn't the best. Beautiful place and lots of very nice cars. The weather looks great for this year.

Two shows for Jersey folks--and maybe New Yorkers too--tomorrow July 9: The famous and picturesque Monmouth Park horse racing track is having an antique car show; and in nearby Red Bank, NJ--off Exit 109 of the Garden State Parkway--the Red Bank Fire Department is sponsoring an all-years/any type car show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. They're expecting around 300 cars/entries. Weather is supposed to be excellent.

Red Bank NJ show was big success today...about 375 vehicles of all types and years were entered, a really large number of spectators came to the show, and a large number of trophies were given out by their respective sponsors. Since it was a charity event, there were no classes per se, as "winning" cars were just selected by what caught the trophy sponsors' eyes.
