Car ferry across Lake Champlain

Car ferry across Lake Champlain
Planning our corvette trip Maine, has anyone taken their vette across Lake Champlain on a ferry? I am worried about on and off nose clearance. If yes, which one?
Thanks

Never did the ferry, I always drove the road around the lake. Can't beat the views and the roads are fun to drive in a Corvette. Depending on your route there are two road crossings. One at Rouses Point just south of the Canadian boarder and another at Hammond Pond/Chimney Point.
I'd have to imagine the ferry being car friendly with appropriate ramps and clearances for all card.
Whatever route you take enjoy the trip.
BTW: You may want to ask this in the Northeast section you'll likely get a broader year response.

No problem at all for Corvettes. Here we are crossing the lake(Hwy 74, exit #28 off I-87 at Ticonderoga, NY) in 13 of our itty bitty sports cars on a 13 day, 3,500 mile, road trip from Branson, MO to Vermont and Cass, WV. Proof that Corvette owners want a cargo space big enough to carry more than 2 days of clean underwear. Much more fun than driving your SUV.
Make sure you plan some time to visit Fort Ticonderoga in New York, close to the ferry. The Fort also has a very nice little restaurant for lunch.

Why was this moved from the C7 section to the Great Lakes section. Someone doesn't know their geography as Lake Champlain is not located in any of the states in the Great Lakes section of this forum.
