Default NJ Car Show (Morris County 6/11/2017)

A friend of mine is putting together a car show for his work. He said last year's show had a great turnout of participants with some amazing cars.

Nice. I will see if I can swing by with the C7Z or my TA. My serious car show friends will ask but are their show classes defined? Popular choice or judged?

There aren't any classes. There will be 5 trophies for sponsor's choice plus plaques and registration packages for the first 100 participants.

Hello, I really hate to ask this question but would someone be willing to stop by my home and take a look at my driveway and give their opinion on whether or not they think a C7Z would fit up my driveway. I live within 10 minutes from this shows location 30 seconds up the road from the CVS in Whippany. I am 85% sure it would be ok as I would be able to pretty much be able to enter almost parallel to the driveway and turn right up the apron.

Can you post a picture? We might be able to get an idea just from that.

I put something on the nose of my mustang to put it a little less than 4" off the ground and still had 2 inches clearance coming in at an angle. Straight on would be death to the front splitter.

I don't know the height measurements of the C7 Z but my slightly lowered C6 fits up my driveway and I think the beginning of my driveway is a little steeper than yours and then levels out. I only scrape the plastic airdam when reversing. An angled approach is your only way of getting in and out but I think you should be fine. Will the dealership allow you to take a test drive to your house to find out? A friend of mine did that.

You will be fine as long as you approach it and leave at an angle. My entry is much steeper and have no issues but I do have the poverty front splitter.

The weather looks great for the show. The turnout should be good.

Very nice show and I had a real great time. Very nicely organized and good turn out.

Can you please pass on some constructive feedback to your friend? (I'll also mention it on the Facebook post.) Considering this was a PBA hosted event, I was very taken aback that our National Anthem was not played at all. Thanks.

Will do. This is their 2nd show so I'm sure there are a lot of improvements that can be made. So please send any suggestions.
