Unfortunately I think you know me too well. However I think you are giving credit to only half the part of the anatomy responsible. The other part is the missing grey matter that keeps sane people from acting on such opportunities as you mention.
Also the desire to stay out of Jail and keep a license to enjoy our cars also factors in.
Now a challenge on a more limited duration would be a horse of another color.

Another first timer, coming westbound on the Pa turnpike Saturday morning. Just can't figure out what is the best time to get there Saturday morning. I have a friend who is coming from Philly area who is going to be at that area right off the turnpike near Denver, Pa between mile marker 279-280, the cold storage place at around 8 am. Is that too late to be going there? I have a ticket.

8 a.m. should be good. You may hit some traffic getting onto the fairgrounds, but I would definitely be there by 9 at the latest. I expect it's going to be packed with sparse parking for Saturday because the weather is going to be perfect.
