Need A Fiberglass guy in MA Area
Hey Guys,
Anyone know a good fiberglass guy in MA?
Just picked up a car that needs some work. I'm sure I could do it myself but I'd rather have someone with experience handle it.
Just need the panels reinforced and a clean surface, I'm going to wrap the car so it doens't need to be paint ready

I went with Stan at Second Gen Auto Restorations.
He came recommended from the board. So i know it'll get done right. he gave me an estimate which was in the wheelhouse for what I thought it would cost, and he's local.
So when I brought the hood down to him, and he said he could knock it out in a week or two I just said to myself. I don't have time to be driving this hood around town getting quotes. I unloaded it right there and dropped it off with him.
I'll keep you posted, thanks for the help

He knows I want to drive it for the rest of the summer so he's getting it to primer quickly, and then I'll paint it over the winter.
He seemed to have it all in one piece already. The bottom section had cracked all the way through in a couple places, and he used epoxy resin at my request to stiffen it up. Just based on the work, I know it'll cost a little more than I thought but if it's done right at the end of the day and I can actually get some usage of it this summer, it's worth what will probably be $500 extra.

Thanks for the help. I dropped off a piece today and he was literally working on it when I pulled up. So, it's nice that he's not sitting on it.

Got the front clam back from the body shop yesterday. Just wanted to post an update. It looks like they did a really really good job. I don't think even an experienced eye could tell this was ever fixed, and the plan when it's painted is to have a better finish than OEM:
