If you're a Club guy (I'm not) check out Corvette Society, real nice bunch of guys and very involved with their Corvettes. Monthly meetings in central Nassau where they discuss different aspects of the cars including guest speakers, they also meet every Friday night at (IIRC) a local Auto Zone. They also have occasional group rides around the area. Their President Stan is very dedicated to the club and does a great job, they have a Club show every year and are affiliated with Arnold Chevrolet...good luck!

There's a good-sized meet every Thursday at the Oakdale shopping center on Montauk Highway. Not just Corvettes, but a lot of nice cars. Try to get there by five o'clock to get a decent spot. Also.....I don't know if it still goes on, but there used to be a small gathering every Saturday afternoon in the Islip town hall parking lot on Montauk Highway. A lot of older Fords at that one.

Went a couple of times last year. Then it shut down. Owners and organizers got into a pissing contest. Good to hear it's back on.

I'm in Suffolk South Shore, Milleridge is a little ride for me but not bad. I think its a good meet. If it was closer I would go more often. Got to love the bridge to the OBI !!
