Default Hillside Corvettes in Bridgewater NJ - recommendation?

Hello all,

I have to have a few shops that I can turn to for repairs - basic maintenance, diagnostics as needed, weather stripping, etc... as needed going forward. My car is a 1994.

Currently I use my local Chevy dealer in North Brunswick, Malouf - no problems at all, the biggest job they did for me about 4 year back was change my Optispark.

I also used Corvette Paramedics in Mount Holly many times over the years, but --- that is a bit of a trip for me - average 45-50 minutes one way, and they do it all, full service shop --- more than my local Chevy dealer.

But looking for another shop to keep on the side who can do the work like Paramedics - more than my Chevy dealer. If I need someone to dig deep, make repairs, soon I want my weather strip changed, that my Chevy dealer can't - in another words -- compatible to Corvette Paramedics.

So ---- I was searching the internet and saw - Hillside Corvettes in Bridgewater --- Bridgewater is about 20 minute drive for me.

Just wondering if anyone had/has work performed there, do they service all generations - especially my C4? Just looking for some opinions.

Thanks
Bob

I travel in the Bridgewater area frequently and have never heard of Hillside Corvettes. Where are they located and do you have a contact number for them? I'm interested in looking them up..

I live in Bridgewater and have never heard of them, nor seen the building or any signs.

I just looked up the address and I drive by there all the time, never seen a Corvette when passing, only thing is maybe everything is inside but you'd think I'd at least see a car in the lot once in a while?

They are listed as a parts outlet, but I doubt they actually exist.

Ok --- thanks for the replies. So I will pass that one, scratch them off, and will stick with people I'm using.

Thanks,
Bob

I live just south of BW and I have never heard of them either. I recently went to ECS for some maintenance items and was very pleased. I have also heard good tings about the dealer you are using, but I haven't used them.

ECS does not work on C4s, at least major mods, tuning, etc.

Thanks for the additional replies. Correct for ECS - I reached out in the past and they only service C5, C6, actually --- they recommended Corvette Paramedics to me, they recommend people that have C4/older to the Paramedics.

Yes, for Malouf in North Brunswick --- they do a great job. In the past I spoke to a few customers on the side who have late and early model Corvettes and they are happy. I will stick with them, and anything major that Chevy can't tackle, then off to the Paramedics.

Thanks
Bob

I know Hillside Corvettes well. They have been around for over 30 years. Glen, the owner restores and repairs Corvettes, as well as building and maintaining various Corvette race cars. Glen is also an NCRS Master Judge, the former judging chairman for the Central Jersey Chapter on the NCRS, and an SCCA owner/driver.

Hillside has done work for a number of Forum members, but I believe they primarily work on 53-82 Corvettes.
