I am not bashing them, but they do not deal with trades ins, they send them to auction. So as such you will get a price on your trade in that is close to what an auction price would be. And trust me most owners are not thrilled with what auction prices are.
If you want the highest value, you are much better off in trying to sell it yourself. If that isn't appealing to you, you can trade it in and make it an all in one deal.
I have traded in my Vette at Kerbeck, but knowing full well that I can do better if I sell it on my own, but I don't want to deal with what that entails.
So do what you feel is best for your situation, I have no issues trading it in there.
Good Luck.

Try MacMulkin in Nashua, NH. They have a good reputation.

This is pretty much what I figured. I just don't want to go through the hassle of selling it myself (have sold my 2 other Corvettes myself and it's not fun) but I'm not going to just give it away either on a trade in.
Decisions.....Decisions....

Kerbeck has great prices if you are not dealing with a trade in. I purchased my C6 in 2012 from Kerbeck and in 2015 I went to trade it in on a new one and they offered 6k less then another dealer in PA. The PA dealer discounted the 2015 the same amount as Kerbeck so it was a no brainer for me as to where to buy.

Give Van Bortel Chevy a try when I was ordering my 17 GS I had to trade my 04 and they gave me the best trade value of all the forum dealers I tried. There near Rochester, N.Y. They have a lot of new and used corvette's in there indoor show room. I ordered my 17 over the phone and got trade value by sending pictures .When I picked up 17 GS and traded in corvette in June they had around 75 corvette's inside and my transaction was the smoothest of any car deal done local or out of state. My sales person was Nate.

Thanks everyone for all of the info.
Ended up going to Criswell. They gave me what I wanted on my trade in so they have placed an order for me from the Factory for a 2018 since what I wanted was not in their inventory. Now we wait!

be prepared for a revaluation of your car when the '18 comes in...or have you already released yours to the dealer? There's a clause on the back of dealer contracts that stipulates they reserve the right to. Just sayin.

Most of my corvettes have been purchased by forum members, I was never able to get large dealerships in my area like Kerbeck and Reedman's to give me good prices on my trade, so I would either sell it private, or trade into a smaller dealership, while the discount was not that of a larger dealership, the "package" price (discount and trade) was better at the smaller dealership, of course with the smaller guys they do not have the inventory so it's hit or miss if the smaller dealership guy will even have the car you want

Don't forget that if you trade a car, in most states you only have to pay sales tax on the difference between the agreed selling price and trade-in amount they give you. That could make it not worth the hassle of trying to sell your car privately.

I was going to recommend Criswell's. Drove from Pennsylvania to there just to "look" and came home with a new one. Gave me a great deal on mine, plus knocked nearly $8000 off the new one. Easy to deal with. Just have to watch when they try to sell you the extended warranty. We had an issue. Aside from that, I'd go back for another one.

Traded my 14 stingray Z51 in may of 2016 for a loaded 16 ZO6 ... Kerbecks trade was lower then 2 other Philly area dealers but the Kerbeck discount on the ZO6 more then made up the difference in the final deal.....which the other dealers could not touch!!!! Kerbeck is the number one Corvette dealer for over 20 years .. there must be a reason right??? I will always shop around but i will start with Kerbeck for sure... Joe Zulli my sales rep and Rich Pepe the GM were a pleasure to work with...
