Default Kerbeck Toys For Tots Caravan Sat Sept 23rd - Who's Going?

One of the coolest events of the Fall season is next weekend on Saturday September 23rd and I was curious who is planning on attending? 14th year for Kerbeck hosting this event and it's not about driving fast, it's about you and your fellow Corvette enthusiasts coming together to gather toys for the unfortunate children for the upcoming Christmas season. Sure you can donate a toy at your local toy drop box (and I suggest you do that too) but this event is an awesome display of Corvettes from all over the area and they aren't sitting in a static parking lot, we are actually driving the cars! Once we gather at Bader Field it's great to see the local Marines and the thousands of toys that are gathered at this one day event. It is the largest collection of the year for all of Atlantic County.
Plus Kerbeck feeds us a free lunch and they have cool door prizes too, Harry how about a key chain?

Personally I will be meeting with my local Club members and plan to arrive at Farley plaza around 11:30 and the cruise on down to the ball park. You can also buy your new Corvette while you are there, the dealership is open for business.

Hope to see you there and post up if you plan to attend.

I will be there with information on the 2019 National Corvette Caravan to the NCM in Bowling Green, KY as well, so if you have questions about that event please stop and say hello. Come and see the mid engine Corvette on display at the NCM!

That would be really cool and watch the 2014 video on the Kerbeck link in my original post, you are featured in the video. If you can't make it let me know and I will bring the bikes!

Why do they do it on the same day as the big Wildwood Boardwalk show? You'd think they would coordinate events to maximize participation.

Default Old school run?

It's been a few years since I went on this run. I've heard that it's not like it use to be with the 'run'. Is it true that we're not all together anymore? They use to hold up traffic and let us all caravan in from Farley Plaza. And now we just merge in together with all the other hondas, and Toyotas on the road?

Yeah, some azzhat decided it would be a good idea to post up videos of his stupidity for all to see. Do not let that stop you from going, it is still a great event for a great cause !

I don't think anybody knew he did it until later. He was not local, and has not been back since. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, don't forget to bring the video camera.

It really depends on your preferences. I like to get to the field early and watch all the cars roll in, (you beat the long food lines this way too) others like the experience of driving with all the Vettes from one of the rally points. The big meetup is on the AC Expressway at Farley plaza, but there are other groups meeting at various rest areas along the GSP as well.

Planning to be there and meeting up at Farley around 11:00. Great event! It's a blast being part of all the cars rolling down the AC Expressway. I wouldn't worry about them running out of food because the Kerbecks always have plenty. Incredible event!

It was nice to see you again, Jeff. Good luck with your efforts.

I also want to send a big thank you to Dave, and his team at Kerbeck, for putting together another terrific Toys for Tots event.

It obviously takes a lot of effort to put something like this together, and it just seems to get better every year!

Thank you to everyone who came out, it was a great event!

I'll have an online photo album set up soon with pictures of the event and will post info on it.
