NJDMV - will NOT inspect a C6 in Eatontown
Took my 2013 GS yesterday for inspection. Nope I was told, your car is too low. Parson's (who manage the centers in NJ) allegedly have a rule that anything lower than 3 inches cannot be inspected. My car is stock and the air dams are 3.3 inches clearance. No point in arguiing with DMV. On a whim I tried the one in Freehold. No problem, they asked me if it was over 2.5 Looks like they have a special lane. Nice guys and saved me $70. In case you get stuck:
FREEHOLD
801 Okerson Road
Freehold
NJ 07728
Just to be clear, the idiots are in Eatontown, other facilities do not appear to have caught the dumbass infection...

When I first got my Vette (from out of state) and went to the inspection station in Paramus (Century Rd.), they immediately recognized my car and flagged me to go to the far left where the car port was. I didn't even go through the normal car lanes in the building!

I live near Newton in Sussex County. Their facility has a lane set up for the low cars. The whole experience took about 10 minutes from the time I drove in. The woman inspector also told me they never fail Corvettes for no front plate. They just advise you that you are supposed to have one.
