C6 will not start, dead battery, will not jump?

Default C6 will not start, dead battery, will not jump?
I went to start my car since its been sitting for a while and it started to turn over then stopped. I got out and hooked up my battery charger on start and it will not even try to turn over. I tried putting the fob in the glove box but no use?

I was thinking a new battery, but since it wont start off the charger it may be something with the security system?

Confused?

Key fob now works to open trunk and doors lock and unlock with it.

got it started. seems like the car thought it was running. I turned it off, then started it right up.
