Looking for info on Bresee Chevrolet - upstate NY
Bresee was one of the oldest dealerships in the NY area. It was located on Old Liverpool Rd. in Liverpool, NY. It was purchased by Burdick around 2011. My '66 was delivered to and sold by Bresee in 1966. I'm trying to gather info on the dealership which may lead to getting info about the car. I'm looking for the car's history pre 1995. I am no longer a member of NCRS, or I would post in their Driveline.
Thanks to anyone who may have information or suggestions on finding a source.

Not sure if this will help. I bought my first Corvette at Bresee. It was a 1973, which most people now avoid like the plague, because it was the first smog motor version (thanks EPA). Anyways Burdick had a lot of dealerships around Syracuse and is now located in one of the big malls that went under. It's called Drivers Village. There might be a slim chance that someone there could help you. They sell just about every brand of vehicle there is.Good Luck.
I've been in touch with Syracuse Corvette Club, the Syracuse Historical Society, and the dealer who purchased Bresee, and they were all very cool trying to help. One of the managers of Burdick spent a good amount of time on the phone with me attempting to locate anything in their records that had to do with my car. Since I had limited history prior to 1995 I couldn't provide them with anything useful that would help them help me. The Syracuse Club brought up my inquiry to its members at one of their meetings, which I very much appreciated, but nothing came out of it.
I get the urge every once in a while to pursue the car's history- on again/off again. I'll be off again for a while now I suppose.

Bresee was in the Yenko dealer network and sold several Yenko modified Camaros in 69.

There are several collectible original items on ebay from that dealership if that's any interest to you. Cant help with your cars history, but they may be pretty cool to own.
Good luck.
Good luck.
