Default Corvettes & Ice Cream

If anyone’s interested, our next cruise is set for Saturday July 28th. We’ll be traveling the scenic twisty back roads through Berkeley Springs and Paw Paw, WV eventually up to Creasaptown, MD for lunch and ice cream. If you love ice cream check out Livvys SoftServe online, the portions are huge! We’re meeting at the Wolf’s Furniture parking lot at the Hagerstown Outlets at 9:30. Feel free to bring your spouses along as most members do.

Jason

That's almost worth the 2 hour drive to go with you.

Hey Karvette,
trust me if you make the trip you won’t regret it. It’s a great time with a group of people that love cars and hanging out. It’s hard to pass up an opportunity to drive your Vette along the scenic back roads of beautiful WV and eat ice cream of those proportions!

There was a good group of Corvettes this morning at Black Dog Coffee in Ranson, WV. Was that part of your route?

Hey William,
No, Ranson is not part of our route trip. I’m not sure who that group was. I’m familiar with the Charles Town & Ranson area though since I grew up just across the state line in MD. I’ve attended the cruise-ins on Friday nights at the Home Depot over there in the past.

Looks like beautiful weather for Saturday, mostly sunny and 82. Great day to have the Vettes out

Thanks for organizing another great day out! Sorry I couldn't stay for pizza or ice cream, as I had a mid-afternoon engagement and didn't want to return on the interstates (I took Scenic 40 and 144 most of the way back), but running with the GT350 and GT500 through the twisties west from Berkeley Springs was a blast (had my dashcam microphone been on, it would have been worth posting the footage below in real time, as the exhaust symphony was impressive - #jimfail).

You’re very welcome Jim. It’s an absolute blast with this group, happy to have you with us. Beautiful scenery and American muscle makes for a fun time. All those people who viewed this post but didn’t give it a second thought are truly missing out! See you September 9th

Thanks for sharing the video Jim and yes, the sound would have been amazing to hear (again). :-)

IDK why the camera didn't record any audio. I reconnected the mic plug and now it works. Weird. Boo!

The best I can offer for now is an LS7 fix at ~4:50 in the vid of the spring cruise. :-)

Don’t worry Jim, we’ll get another chance to capture that symphony orchestra of V8’s on September 9th! Thanks again for the video. I’ve come up with an idea for the next route trip, I just have to drive it first to make sure it works. I’ll keep everyone posted. It includes driving through a historical covered bridge

None of the ice cream this time but they certainly didn’t disappoint. We had a great mix of Mustang Cobras & GT’s, a Hellcat and of course C6 & C7’s.
