You’re leaving a day too late for me. I’ll be there on Friday as it’s not as crowded and to see the burnout competition. If you’re interested in a corvette caravan you can join my group on Sunday September 9th where we’ll eventually end up in Emmitsburg for dinner at Rubes Crab Shack. I’ve found here on the Northeast section that trying to get someone to join in on your cruise/caravan is pretty difficult. Good luck

In all of the 16 years of going to Carlisle, I've yet to encounter more than one other Vette on the PA turnpike at the same time as I am headed for the show. I'd love to find a group to follow down, but then again, I'm coming from the western side of PA, and I don't take the pike the whole way into Carlisle. I get off at Blue Mountain and take the back way in. Cheaper, and a much nicer drive. And with the new rates in effect for the turnpike, I'm saving almost $5 in tolls one way.

Right now my plan is to go on Thursday or Friday (not sure which day) and to go on Saturday. I'm almost 100% sure about Saturday.. so I could meet up with ya. Has anybody else expressed interest?

Great. Right now the weather on Friday is supposed to be perfect. I can only go Friday. I am not sure I want to leave that early...usually leave the house around 8. In any event, if I'm up early, I will head to the Wawa and if anyone is there we can cruise together
