I don't do a lot of cruises. The only ones I try to make every year are at the Bar A in Belmar every year in May. (May 19 this year)
and another usually some time in October at the Smithville Inn on Rt 9 down by Absecon. Both are well attended Corvette events.
I also try to make one track event each spring at NJMP and Watkins Glen in June

I was born and raised in Jersey City, worked in New York city until I married in '69, bought a home in Brick town. Then 3 yrs later I built a house on my in laws 40 acre farm, been there since ( an 1/8 of a mile dirt road to get out onto the back roads ) . Been riding motorcycles since '75.
Looking forward to seeing some nice looking 'vettes this spring !
Thank for the posts!!

In the fall, I actually met a forum member on here who lives in the next town over from me. We met at a local bar for lunch. Parked our vettes out front side by side. It was a good time. Chatting with strangers is always fun. When the weather breaks we should set up some gatherings for lunch. We could meet at a centrally located shore town like Seaside or somewhere in that area. Just a thought.

There is always one in at the Jackson Outlets, not too far from Great Adventure. And another large turnout is at the Chic Filet restaurant on Rt.9 in Howell

On a good fall day easily 200 corvettes in attendance.
The event usually shows up on the fall events calendar on Smithville inn web site
I think it may be run by the Lakes Corvette Club out of Medford Lakes.
Good show and wife can browse through all the shops

Im in monmouth county if anyone is interested Rt 18 has some great stretch of highway and I know some nice backroads. If you like Hamburgers Barnacle Bills in Rumson is a great spot for a gathering. Perhaps in the spring once this **** weather is over.

Edison here. Smithville Show in October is run by Original Garden State Corvette Club It's a good show for Corvettes only.
Woodbridge Corvette Club also does their show a week or two before Smithville.
We personally don't do shows but will attend as spectator occasionally. Would rather be driving since we only get to use it on weekends. Always up for a cruise even though it takes 45 minutes to get to the less crowded areas.
