Always a fun time with the No Rules gang. Great camaraderie and great cars. I recommend it for all Corvette enthusiasts. Plus its at Hooters, how can that be bad?

Well our first cruise night of the season has come and gone..... Considering it was in the lower 50's we still had a 13 Corvette turnout! Everyone survived the winter months and is chompin' at the bit for some warmer weather to show off our rides. >>>> Not that we would SHOW OFF <<<<< Yes we would! So head on down to Hooters on the Berlin Turnpike in Wethersfield every Wednesday at 5 for a good time! See ya' there!

Have to ask? How do you have a car show competition without rules?

The No Rules Corvette Club has just that >>>> NO RULES! The reality is there is no hierarchy meaning there's no president, no treasurer because there's no dues, no secretary,,, you get where I'm going with this... If you think you've got an idea the club might be interested in then you promote it to see if it flies. The trophy's presented at our cruise nights are chosen by none other than the Hooter girls. We do a 50/50 where 100% of the proceeds go to Paul Newman's Hole In The Wall Camp in Ashford CT. Quite often the 50/50 winner will kick the winnings back to the camp. You want rules go somewhere else! LOL

I know, I was just trying to be funny, I believe we met a number of your members a couple years ago at Bowling Green? The people we met that evening were having a good time making fun of the name and type of club. (or was it making fun of our regimented club?) Either way, seems like a great bunch of people!

Could be that we met, who knows? I saw a bunch of people taking pictures of my license plate (NORULS) at the museum during the caravan. We went from BG to Ft Lauderdale then back to CT. Had a 2006 then, now it's a 2016.

CTYANK2 that's correct. Bummer, anyway time for an update. The No Rules Corvette Club seems to be having a very successful start to the year! We are averaging 30+ Corvettes per Wednesday night with the 50/50 in the $100 range! For more info check out the OP.

Another quickie update and some bragging, ya' ready? This past Wed. we competed for cars with the Middletown show, they had 2-300 cars I'd guess; we had 28. So even on a week with major completion we only were down maybe two Corvettes! I don't know how much their 50/50 was but ours was $100 !! On a per car basis I think we do THE BEST around! Thanks' to Big Jim for filling in for me selling the 50/50 tickets with Phil, AKA Bernie Madoff. LOL, Big Jim's got a name for everybody. Rapid Ron's mine, Ahhhh, maybe it wasn't such a quickie after all, you'll get over it...... Ron

A real quickie update this time, A close to record 48 Corvettes at last weeks Wednesday evening show with a record $165 going out to the 50/50 winner. On a sarcastic note help Don & I count the passengers on the CT Fastrack busses when they go by..... So far 4 passengers seems to be a FULL bus. Rapid Ron

OMG !! Two records smashed this week! We had an astounding 60 Corvettes and our 50/50 was $175! We were running out of space but we managed so,,,,,,, GET THERE EARLY TO ENSURE A SPOT. Check with Don for T shirts, hats, golf shirts and something new, magnetic NRCC name tags. If we can order 30 name tags they're only $5 a tag! Can't go wrong with that can ya'?
