Anybody headed to Pocono Raceway this coming Saturday to participate in Slip Stream Roll Racing? I am planning to be there, would like to connect with any Forum members.

I couldn't make it to this one, it was sold out. Plus even if it wasn't sold out, they rescheduled it to the 27th, so i'm working. I was off yesterday i could have went if it wasn't sold out.
I should be good to go in june.
Btw i tried pitching this event in the other thread and no one wanted to go. I guess a lot of corvette owners these days just like parking their car in a lot, sitting in their lawn chair and stare for 7 hours lol.
No one wants to use their car anymore. I'll see you in june.
edit: @thegame
Broham lincoln did you sign up for june???

News Flash, big bad news, just heard from Akash, one of the organizers, that Pocono messed up the schedule and this weekend will be cancelled, no Slip Stream until June!

So what does that mean for june??
All april entries will be automatically moved to june or given the option to move to june?
I only ask this is because then wouldn't it be a packed house? Or over crowded entries?

Drifting
All of those signed up for April were automatically signed up for June. I had to get a refund because I couldn't make the later date. There will likely be others in the same position that should free up some racer spots, but most spots are probably already taken from the April crowd.

Damn, looks like the event is already sold out??
I guess we should all plan this for the august date.
Come on guys! Use your corvettes for what it's meant for! Not to park it in a parking lot and stare at the birds for 8 hours. That's so f*cking boring! LOL
@thegame
Are you alive?

Roll Racing at Pocono Speedway. They segregate by RWHP, generally 3 classes. Two cars come out of turn 3, headed for the straight in front of the Grandstand, you hit the cones at 50-55 mph and then you are racing, a third mile, to the end of the Grandstand, headed into turn 1. You have full use of the garages and there is plenty of paddock area to park your tow rig, if you have one. It's really a great day, I have done it a few times.

Looks like they have modified the classes for the June 29th event by top speed, of course you would not know your top speed until you run(?). My car is head, cam and CAI and it lays down 553; I run 146 MPH at Pocono.
