MONTEREY HISTORICS: Barnyard Caravan to Laguna Seca
We will again be running a caravan from The Barnyard Shopping Center in Carmel Valley to the corvette corral at Laguna Seca on Saturday August 16.
Meet at the shopping center parking lot near the Washington Mutual Bank between 8 am and 9 am. Some have met for breakfast in the past. The caravan will leave at 9:00 am sharp. I will have a few extra corral passes if needed. Best you already have your Laguna Seca tickets as they are more expensive at the gate. Bring your FRS radios.
The Barnyard Shopping Ctr is located just south of Carmel of Hwy 1. Turn off Hwy 1 at Carmel Valley Rd. Go to first stop light and turn right on Carmel Rancho Blvd. Look for the corvettes off to the right.
Looking forward to seeing you all. Please post so I'll have an idea of how many.

We will be there for sure in our car. Our friends are coming down on Friday for the Pacific Grove run, so I think they will also be joining us on Saturday.

A great Vette event if you've never made the trek from the Barnyard in Carmel... up and over the pass to Laguna Seca. Awesome sight to see that many Vette's on a great road!
I'll be heading down from the Bay Area on Saturday morning...(6:00am)... if anyone wants to caravan. This is a fantastic run!!!

LasT minute thing here, I was on the 06 caravan. Can I still get one of the corral passes? I still need to buy my tickets for the track, but I should be getting those soon.

If it was a normal weekend event I would be there Friday and Saturday. There is so much to do down there that it will Saturday only. Friday is the Pacific Grove Ralley and possibly the Concoursa in the morning, although they charge way to much to look at cars so might skip this one.

Just got back to Folsom. Great run and nice meeting everyone. The Pacific Grove event was fun and at least it wasn't so windy on the drive after the show. Maybe next year we can even have some sun for the Pacific Grove event. Once again I was amazed at the number of great cars in the pits at Laguna. Over 40 Trans-am cars and at probably close to 20 Can-Am cars. Then there are all the classic Ferraris' that people take out ont he track that are worth more than my house and cars combined.
I will try and post some pictures tomorrow.
