Default Where to find High Octane gass Roseville area?

Anyone find any gas pumps in Roseville area with Octane rating higher than 91? Everyone back east gets 93 and we are stuck with 91?

We have been stuck with pump 91 for 20+ years on the West coast. Anyone building or buying a high compression engine/car surely knows to expect this before hand I'm sure.

There are very few stations that offer race gas at public pumps, but Sac area has a couple and San Jose a couple other than that good luck.

I have heard of stations in some areas offering higher octane or race gas for our older high performance cars. Not for the newer daily drivers with all that smog cr@p!

I would check with some of the dirt bike shops, Here in reno they sell it in 5 gal cans, Also try some of the fuel places like home heating oil places. Check the airport also. We have 1 station here in Sparks that sells VP from the pump, It comes in 93 and 100 I believe. But that is a long way to drive.

I know there is a 76 station off Anetelope or Elkhorn on the West side of 80 that used to have 100 at the pump. Also the 76 on Watts like mentioned above.

I'm not far from Antelope. I'm in Rocklin near Sierra College. If you happen to remember, I'll go check it out!

Thanks

Run AVGAS 100LL, 5.04 per gallon.... though I'm not sure this would be
to good for your engine....

Check out the Union 76 station at Auburn Folsom Road and Greenback Lane, at the corner before you go over the new bridge into Folsom. The did sell race gas in five gallon cans inside the mini mart awhile back.

Not sure where you can buy it or if it can be mixed with 91 pump octane?

Most airports sell it, I fill my cessna 172 with it every other weekend - I don't know about mixing it with 91 octane either.

You can't ren 100LL in your car, It has lead in it, Also it is against Fedral law to run LL on the street.

it has nothing to do with smog cr@p. Today's car can use high octane gas w/o damaging cat as long as it's unleaded, though they may not get benefit out of it. If you're talking about leaded fuel, it's another story.

Right on Hwy 65 in the middle of town in glorious Wheatland there is a station that has racing fuel. I have wanted to stop and look at it closer but just haven't had the chance. I'm not sure but I think they sell Sunoco (privately owned station) but not sure. It's a white building at the stoplight. If you check it out let me know. Copper

Okay everyone. I stopped by this station tonight and yes it is Sunoco 100 octane at the pump. $40.00 later off I went. A few mins. later I came upon a Camero vert with the lic. plate that read "BYU * LAW" and he wanted to play. I just toyed with him without being stupid and no matter how hard he stepped on it his mirrors were always full of my headlights until playtime was over and he needed to bow his head in submission as I walked away. I looked over at my wife and said "BYU Boy got himself a Camero from school and I went to the school of hard knocks and got myself a Corvette". I would say I'm the smart one. Peace out, Copper
