This is the second session, the tires were at their peak but the lap was a little sloppy: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t...inion15433.flv
I got some flak for this pass:http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t...eskymiatas.flv

Here is another one:http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t...nCleanLaps.flv
It was in the afternoon and the tires had lost their ultimate grip but the laps were more tidy and the last would have probably been my fastest but I got caught up by a miata.

Nice vids Sidney . I think those passes would be expected and accepted with NCRC and some of the more aggressive groups. It's hard to remember sometimes which groups are more conservative with the passing rules. Looked like a clean pass to me. The guy should have just lifted a little prior to the turn to let you safely around since you were on his butt for so long IMO. Or if he didn't want you to pass, he should have blocked you earlier LOL.

Absolutely! The tires were at their best in the second session, but I was still able to do a 2:04.4 in the 4th session being a bit more brave thru turn 10 and the carousel and more precise thru turn 11. I will be on Goodyear slicks next time out, just got to figure out when my wife is going to visit her girlfriend in Colorado
What is the schedule for you guys?

Looked clean to me, Sidney. Seemed to be cooperative, you were around him by the entrance to the pits, and you made the inside stick. Don't know what else you could have done to make it safer. Frankly I thought the Miata dive-bombing the second apex on T7 was a riskier move, and even that seemed reasonable to me for the open group.

NCRC Nov. 6, that would be a nice one to attend. I got the 11.5/25.5 18 Goodyears from 2 other sources(one of which was free,) two of them are R470's and the other two are R480's(the higher the number the harder the compound) I have no idea how old they are, but hopefully they will be quick.
