I sure did. I ended up sanding the letters off the faces of the 17X4" GTO spares and had them repowdercoated gloss black and bought a set of M&H 185/55-17R front runners. The rears are now OE ZR1 with 275/40-17 MT ET Streets.

Are the rears 9 inch wide or 11? The rear ZR1 was 11. That tire size sounds like a 9 inch rim..... Post some pics

I think they are 9"??? Actually I thought they were 9.5" but might be 9". When they are mounted I will post up. I also bought some 1" front spacers so the "runners" didnt look stupid. I thought this whole wheel setup was a "budget" race pack, but turned out costing me well over $1000 in the end.

I still can't believe that "The Powers That Be" will let you drag race that car, but won't let you run an Auto-X

The Entry fees are only $35 for tech card 15 for spectators. We will have a big Corvette Corral and great camp for everyone to hang out and kick it while waiting to run.
Bring your ice chest, folding camp chairs and come hang out with the Vette family.

I brought this event up at the SCC board meeting on Monday. Looks like we may be there with a dozen or so Vettes.

David,
Thank you very much. I am joining VVV this year and I was thinking of trying to move some of those old buggers towards at least showing up and watching/cheering for people who race more than just autocross!

I know you and your wife raced last year and I know you guys really like to compete!
Do you think I should arrange womens class for trophies again?
Let me know, and thanks again David.

I don't know if Victoria will be runnng drags this year, however I would still run a seperate womens class. That way couples can share a car. Also it allows women to run without being intimidated by the men.

I'l be there in a cage also. Ran 11.48 last month at Infineon. 3rd quickest bolt-on LS3 on the Forum. NO2 goes in this week (75/100 hp shot). Tell Dave I finally see it his way.

By the end of the month I should have the heads and cam installed. I can see a 10 in Buds future.

WOW Chuck,
This will be a great race! Dave just ordered his DR's, finally saw it your way!
I can't wait to see you and Dave line up, with Nitrous! When you get tired of filling bottles, Let me know I can hook you up with a blower, permanent boost!

Steve
