I've got this intake in both of my C5's. It rocks AND it's CARB approved so you don't have to worry about having to remove it for a smog test.

I put this on my 99 FRC , switched from a BBK what a difference, the installer who put it in did a real crappy job and I had to go back pull out everything and do it right but other than that it was a HUGE GAIN in the mid range torque. I highly recommend this product been running it now for about three years.

Hey Steve,
I'm very interested in the Honker. Live near Half Moon Bay and work in Santa Clara maybe we can work out a mutual spot to meet. Shoot me a PM or e-mail me at dave.davedudley@gmail.com
Is this for 2001 up, I have a 99
Thanks
Dave

Let me look. I may have the 07-00 honker hardware. I bought a 97-00 system and didn't use the connectors.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.
97-00 LS1 has a 76mm MAF, LS6 has a 85mm MAF and LS2 has a 90mm MAF. Outer diameter on all MAF is the same. The difference between 97-00 & 01-04 is the 97-00 MAF has the IAT mounted into the air bridge where the 01-04 has the IAT internal to the MAF.

David,
That would be great if you could check around and see what you have. I’m guessing the only difference in the kits is the 97-00 has a hole and grommet in the coupler for the MAF.
Thanks
Dave Dudley

I just looked. It looks like I tossed those pieces recently. I didn't think anyone would ever use them. I know that I got the replacement pieces to use with my 90mm system for about $20 from Calaway. I figure it will be about the same for the 97-00 pieces.

David,
Thanks for looking and the info. I'll give Callaway a call and see what they have to say.

Steve,
That brings me back to my original question, If I can get the parts I need is there a mutual place we could meet. Clayton is a pretty long haul from the coast side.
Thanks,
Dave

Why don't you both go to the auto-x tomorrow in Solano. Then you can hand-off in person and have a good time at the event.
