Great drive and very nice meeting everyone. I'm sorry I had to take off early and miss dinner... had a little family emergency. Hope to see you guys at future events.

Thanks

Default 2012 Rainbow Run

Thanks George for putting together a great cruise. This was our first one and definitely plan on attending in years to come. Lots of nice cars and a fun drive. Love to looks we got when we drove though towns, the spectators enjoyed the show. Hope everyone had as much fun as we did. See you next year--or sooner!

Thanks George,
Had a great time. It was our first time joining your run and hopefully not the last. Loved seeing all the great cars and talking to the people. I really feel sorry for the people who decided not to join us because the weather had been bad the few days prior. The weather and the roadways were perfect. Thanks again for a great day.

I just want to thank everyone that came out to the 5th year this event has gone on..
Also this years event went off without 1 real issue... Only thing that happened was that David Wilson had a tire fail and had to make a detour into Santa Rosa to American tire,,, Turned out they didn't have the exact tire he needed so they just gave him a tire to get home(back on the cruise). Unfortunately he wasn't able to make must of the run , he did make dinner....

We had one of our cruisers have to use a snow plow to get his car out for the run, and one gentlemen from Germany.
All in all was a great day out, a little windy at the beach, but we still had a great time, . I seen a group with a folding picnic table cheese and crackers you name it they had it on the table. I even seen a little vino in that mix too...

We had about 136 cars, and 107 for dinner ,... We had a ton of clubs out with us Santa Clara CV , Wine Country Corvettes,Sonoma Co Corvettes,Vacavally, Friends and Family , Cameron Park just to name a few ..

I would just like to thanks a special member for these great pics....

George,

Great job of putting on this event. Takes a lot of time and work and I am sure that everyone appreciates the effort.

Another great Rainbow Run. Thank you George for organizing this event. Clearly the best Vette run in California every year. I flew my son out from Colorado this year to join me. Too much fun, and great fun to enjoy it with my son. Thank God for the weather. The day was perfect.

Anyone post pictures anywhere yet?

Please note - I never took one picture yesterday. The OP in the link ( http://forums.corvetteforum.com/nort...-the-pics.html ) is the photograper.

Had a great time - as always. I cutout early and didn't go to dinner. The car was having some issues - I thought the bypass valve was stuck open, so I couldn't get into boost (felt slow as hell). It turns out the the charge tube was completely detached from the bottom of the intercooler - the hose clamp was missing - the car was ingesting air from underneath....with no filter.

A trip to Autozone this morning for 2 hose clamps...and I'm back in boost

I hope the motor is ok....

The s/c has been on the car for over 2 years. I think the screw on the tbolt clamp may have backed out....that's the only plausible explanation I can come up with
