John Wolf (Wolf Vinyl) in San Jose did my race car. He does street cars and bikes too. Awesome work and reasonable prices.

I am about to do my hood tonight and I will post pix. I just wonder about the weight of the stuff. Its counter intuitive to real carbon fiber as we are putting on more weight instead of taking it off, but it does look good

I'm sure the additional weight is very minimal you will not notice it... Let me know how it goes!

I did the hood fairly well though it was tough to get the hang of it. You really have to have a heat gun trained on the place you are working. I did leave a few wrinkles where I started but am probably going to redo that square foot again. I hope I can post the pix in the thread:

This one is with a bunch of dirt on it right after I re installed and aligned. I am planning to do the rest of my car piece by piece. The wrap does add more weight than I expected and the hood shut unexpectedly when not fully up/opened. I will put more pix up when I clean the hood. Btw I was messing around with extra wrap on the bumper which I will wrap well another time.

turned out pretty good. which wrap did you and how hard was it to manipulate it to form in to shape?

I looked into this for my C6 and ended up painting the roof and halo instead. Pricing was real close and paint looks better.

That c6 looks good. The only other color I like in c5 c6 is the pewter with black top. I bought some stuff on ebay I dont know the manufacturer but it is time intensive and you must have patience; the heat on the spot you are working is mist important. Ill have extra so let me know if any of you nor cal guys want some/ want some help with it.

My targa top was vinyl wrapped with a carbon fiber pattern by Vinyl Styles in San Carlos. Lyle, the owner, is not only a very friendly guy, but very passionate about his work. His prices are very reasonable, and the workmanship that comes out of this shop is impeccable, to say the least! Check out his webpage. His shop is also featured on Yelp, and I don't think I saw a single bad review.

On my previous vette i had wrapped roof in carbon fiber. You have to be carefull when washing the car . not to press it hard or it will leave streaks and you cant get rid of them.
My roof lasted for a year before i took it off due to weird streaks and discolorations.
Every time someone touches and runs finger over , it can damage it.
