Has anyone in CA passed a smog inspection with a CAI installed? Both the Calloway Honker and the AFE Power Magnum Force are 50 state legal, except for Z06 applications. I found this out by looking up the CARB exemption # on the Air Resources Board website. What I'd like to know is if the inspectors catch this on the visual inspection, or if they let it slide. It would be a pain to have to switch intakes just to get it smogged. I really appreciate it if anyone can share their experience about this issue.

You'd never pass in Sacramento. I know dozens of people that pass everything but the visual inspection.

Ask around at a Corvette show to see if any of the smog shops near you are "hard of seeing".

I have passed SMOG in Central Contra Costa County area with my Calloway CAI intake. No questions were ever asked. I hoped I didn't jinks myself
