Autel MD802 and Tech2
I thought I'd try out an inexpensive Autel MD802 code scanner. Autel claims that in addition to fetching generic ODB2 powertrain codes, it can scan all sorts of GM modules, including the BCM, EBCM, RDCLR, HVAC, door modules, and so on.
And it sort of can, but the interface is a hot mess, and the results are inconsistent. I'm not convinced what I'm seeing is accurate.
It would be interesting to compare this gizmo to a real Tech 2. Thought I'd ask if any of you have a Tech 2 updated through the 2006 C6 and wanted to compare.
