Nearest mile drags?
Where is the nearest location to the bay area that has longer drag races such as a mile or two?

Mojave Magnum (1.5 miles) is set to go on October 8th and 9th. Last year I was able to record a 195 mph run. This year I'm going for 200 mph and with a little tailwind I might just make it.

See you there in October Chuck and good luck with the quest for 200. The tailwind helped me hit 208 at this event this past April.

An airstrip out at Coalinga has some 1/2 mile events .I think the club that puts it on is called Shift S3ector.Usually 2 time a year.Went to 1 event to watch -it seemed pretty well run,
