Toys for Tots- Toy Run 2016 @ Abel Chevy Dec 3rd 2016
I know its a little early but just want to get the date out there ..
Corvette Syndicate.Com would like to invite everyone to this year's Toys for Tots Toy Run Saturday Dec 3rd. We will be holding the event once again at Abel Chevy in Rio Vista. The event will be held from 11-1 on Saturday Dec 3rd. Abel Chevy will also be a drop off location for Toys for Tots if you aren't able to make the event on the 3rd, Please stop by and drop a toy off at your convenience. Every single toy counts.
Last year we raised 2700 cash and 491 toys it was a great turn out ,,,,
Richie and Abel will also be hosting a free BBQ for everyone that brings an unwrapped toy
Also going to ask for a small dontation of 5.00 per car to go to Toys for Tots..
We will also be having a raffle where all funds will be going to the Toys for Tots Fund ..5.00 each or 5 tickets for 20.00
Some of the raffle prizes are
Thunderhill Gift Certificate Hooked On Driving
Deep Reflections Detail Girt Certificate
Abel Chevy oil changes
Amzoil
Pelayos Mexican Restaurants
Corvette Syndicate T'shirts

US Marines come out from Toys for Tots and collect toys and cash donations.
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.
I hope all of you can come out this year and support the Marines and the community.
This will be an open invite to all so please tell your friends and come on out and have a great time for a great cause…..
Let's have all the same meet spots throughout the bay area and then all cruise into Rio Vista.
Please post up so we can have a head count and where you will be meeting..

This is one of my favorite events we're involved in and we truly appreciate the effort you all put out to help help kids in our area.

Thanks Richie. I already have a huge bag of toys in my garage I've collected already from Daniel. Duman. He is always in Hawaii for this event and they make sure to get my a bunch of toys every year.
So if you can't make the event you can make arrangements with me or Abel and drop toys off at the dealership or I'll figure out a way to get them from you.
Just remember. Every toy matters. We've raised over 4K toys and over 6k cash for toys for tots since doing the event at Abel Chevy.

Or you can PayPal me and I'll add it to the total cash donation.

Looks like the weather will be Corvette weather so, I will have to ink this in and meet at the Sacramento Target. I assume that this is the Target on Madison and College Oak? Will the run be direct to Abel or will the run take a route down the river road to Rio Vista? Just curious.
I remember doing the Toy Runs many years ago with the Just 4 Corvettes Corvette Club. Do they still do the toy runs. The toy run use to go from the Arco Arena to the Sunrise Mall with well over 200 cars and boy did that screw up the traffic along the way for hours.
