Default Manteca Corvette wave

After being without a Vette for over a year went to Manteca to check out a Torch Red 03 6MT for sale on CarGuru. Took a test drive and exchanged waves with a C7 driver: now I know why I missed having a Vette.

Didn't buy the 03 since I thought it may have some hidden issues and some obvious issues: hole in dash with missing AC temp sensor, missing plastic seat frame rails (possibly had anti-sub belts), deep gorge under driver's seat frame, loose front fenders. Loved the small wing and power bulge hood and 18's and 19's on wider wheels (but no TPMS per the DIC).

Sad to walk away from it since it looked really nice.

On the way home on Hwy 12 could not convince wife to stop by Abel (could see a red Vette on the lot).

While the 'wave' is fun, now-a-days not everyone does it. Either that don't know about it OR are too excited to be driving a Corvette that thy're just dazed! (Ihope it's the first).

And remember...
While you can’t buy happiness,
You can drive a Corvette...
And that’s pretty much the same thing!

When I get back in a Vette I'll continue to wave.

I've found that Corvette drivers almost always respond to flashing your headlights.
