Let the good times roll... will see everyone on September 12 at Kingdon.
Finally, a race where I won't be working behind a microphone and actually become a participant
You mean Sept 10th...hehe

Thanks for the heads up Handi...
That's twice now where I had to go back in and edit a post because of being off by a digit or two.
I would have been a very lonely guy had I shown up there on the 12th

The drags will be here in no time. There has been a lot of interest this year. Might want to get your Pre-registration in to secure your spot...just sayin.

Prepping the track for the drags this Sunday. Over 60 feet of new area laid for the launch pads with 100% VHT being applied...It's sticky !!

Was there yesterday for Vette magic 42. Unfortunately, my car was not because of some mechanical issues that prevented me from bringing it.
Looks like the turn out of Vettes were pretty good, just a bit hard to really tell because of all of the others that were there.
Had to leave early as final eliminations were not set to start until 3 PM so missed out to see who the winners were?
Anyone have any ideas who won and what were the times like?

My guess Handi would know who the winners were?
Good to see that Vette Magic lives on. especially with the uncertain future of Sacramento Raceway.
Perhaps more Vette Magic races can be held in the future at the Kingdon track though they only hold 2 races a year.
Nice work John Lane and everyone else that made this happen

Pat Hendrix of Precision Automotive in Hayward took King of the Hill and Mim Peterson with Santa Clara Corvettes won the Ladies division. Congrats to both. Everyone I talked to really enjoyed having more to do and see than just Drag racing "it was an Event". I was really impressed with the flyover during the National Anthem...P51's are Awesome. All of the old school dragsters and the Beast jet car...Really fast !!
